Terms of Service
By using Spark Learning Inquiry Studio, you agree to these terms. They're written in plain language because we believe clarity matters.
Spark Learning Inquiry Studio is an instructional design tool for educators. It helps teachers plan, build, and deliver inquiry-based lessons. The service is provided by Ramsey Musallam ("we," "us," "our").
- You sign in with your Google account. You're responsible for keeping your account secure.
- You must be at least 18 years old or have permission from your school/institution to use the service.
- One account per person. Don't share your login credentials.
You own everything you create. Lesson plans, recordings, drawings, notes — all yours. We don't claim any ownership of your content.
You grant us a limited license to store, display, and process your content solely to provide the service to you. We will never use your content for advertising, sell it, or share it without your permission.
You agree not to:
- Use the service for anything illegal or harmful
- Attempt to access other users' accounts or data
- Upload malicious files or content that infringes on others' intellectual property
- Reverse engineer, scrape, or exploit the service beyond its intended use
- Use the service to store or transmit student personally identifiable information (PII) beyond what the tool is designed to handle
Some features use Google's Gemini AI to generate suggestions. AI outputs are provided as-is — you are responsible for reviewing and adapting them for your classroom. We don't guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or appropriateness of AI-generated content.
When you export to Google Drive or Docs, files are created in your own Google account. We access only the files this app creates — never your other Drive files. You can revoke access at any time via your Google Account permissions.
- Free accounts have access to core features. Paid plans ("Studio+") unlock additional capabilities.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. You can cancel anytime from your account settings.
- Refund requests are handled on a case-by-case basis — email us and we'll work it out.
We aim for high availability but don't guarantee uninterrupted service. We may update, modify, or temporarily suspend the service for maintenance. We'll try to give notice for planned downtime, but sometimes things break — we'll fix them as quickly as we can.
Spark Learning Inquiry Studio is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you've paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
You can stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. If we terminate your account, we'll make your data available for export for 30 days before deletion.
We may update these terms. If we make material changes, we'll notify you via the app. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
